This is a loosely defined job. I have a number of small web apps that require both branding and web design. Basically, this job involves taking a very plain website (think: built by engineers) and giving it a major facelift to look more like a professional product. Additional thoughts like new product features and flow improvements would be greatly valued too.

I’m looking for web designers who have a good eye for UI/UX, branding, responsive design (same website both on web and mobile form factors).

I have a consistent problem with Upwork in that people apply with portfolios that include designs that they did not create. Then, after I have hired them, they do not do designs at a quality level of their portfolio. Therefore, this project will have a sample project and if you fail to provide a quality result of the sample project, you will not be paid. I cannot think of any other way to weed out portfolio-thieves.

Design Styles that I like (in no particular order):

– etsy.com
– realtor.com
– character.ai
– soundcloud.com
– fiverr.com
– flowkey.com
– ravelry.com
– iconfinder.com

To apply, answer these questions:

1. Your name, age, and geographic location

2. What hours USA-Pacific Time can you work?

3. Are you able to do a consistently deliver on a long-term contract averaging 5-15 hours per week?

4. Attach up to 3 of your web application designs. Things that YOU have PERSONALLY made. If you attach design work that other people have made, you will not be paid and I will report your account.

5. Do you agree to do a sample project, and if it does not match of the similar quality of your portfolio, then it will NOT be paid?

Hourly Range: $6.00-$10.00
