Dewey Smart (deweysmart.com) is an education technology company that provides personalized tutoring, enrichment, and college admissions counseling services to high school students. Our platform connects students with college students from top schools for mentorship from freshman year of high school to freshman year of college and beyond.

About the role
Dewey Smart values outcomes over process. This position will focus on these outcomes:
– Automated Processes – How many processes within Dewey Smart are automated or supported by automation?
– Process Documentation – How many processes within Dewey Smart are known / documented.

What will you do?
– Based on briefs from the team, develop automations in our CRM (Salesmate), Student Information System (Airtable), Portal Software (MiniExtensions, off of Airtable Data), Scheduling System (Acuity Scheduling), and Marketing (Mailchimp).
– Use Zapier or other no-code data automation tools to ensure that data is updated throughout our systems
– Consult with members of the team on their workflows to document processes and identify opportunities for further automation development or process improvement.
– Eventually, create an operations roadmap that drives scalable growth. We will likely want to bring a full-time operations manager on in 2025 – this consulting role can convert into the full-time role, but will at least set the stage for it.

Who are we looking for?
– You’re a no-code expert. You have past experience creating complicated automations in Zapier or Airtable, and you can quickly learn other no-code tools.
– You’re a systems-oriented thinker. It’; it’s about how we help one thousand students
– You’re generative – when you hear how something works, you immediately have more questions or ideas about how it could be improved.
– You have experience with education. Bonus points for anything in tutoring or supplemental education

Hourly Range: $24.00-$45.00
