About the role
We are looking for a dedicated WordPress Developer that can manage and maintain our WordPress site for us on a long term. We are looking for someone that can dedicate a few hours a week for maintenance and occasionally more time for bigger projects.

Our current setup is with Elementor, but we are looking to change the website soon, once we have the new brand guidelines. Designs would be provided with all necessary details and possibly also CSS directly from Figma. Tasks include plugin and theme maintenance, security implementation, and performance optimization.

We are looking for the following skills:
– A strong working knowledge of the WordPress CMS and its underlying architecture
– Experience with front-end WordPress UI development
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant languages
– Working knowledge of plugin and theme creation and customization
– Front-end and backend development capabilities
– Proficiency in WordPress security best practices
– Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
– Ability to optimize the speed and performance of WordPress websites
– Understanding of version control systems like Git
– Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and debugging issues
– Communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
– Time management skills for maximum productivity
– Attention to detail for finding and correcting issues
– Experience with Hubspot and Form/Lead capturing

Responsibilities include:
– Developing and maintaining WordPress website and staging environment
– Creating and implementing new features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
– Updating website content, graphics, and design when needed
– Maintaining a high level of security and ensuring legal compliance
– Implementing SEO best practices for better search engine ranking & Recommend improvements

– Revamp of entire website with new brand guidelines
– creating an easy to use landing page
– setting up staging environment
– possibly change hosting environment

Hourly Range: $15.00-$25.00
