We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Designer to help us design, develop, and optimize the database for our ERP system. This system includes modules for quotation, invoice, purchase order (PO), payment, and more. This is a one-time project with the potential for future collaboration based on performance and project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Design and Architecture:
Design and implement database structures that support ERP system modules such as quotations, invoices, purchase orders, payments, and other related components.
Develop and maintain data models, including logical and physical models, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Data Integration and Management:
Collaborate with software developers and business analysts to gather and analyze data requirements.
Develop and implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow between various ERP modules.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and database tuning.
Implement strategies for efficient data retrieval and storage.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure database security and data integrity by implementing robust security measures.
Ensure database design adheres to all relevant standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Database Designer or similar role, preferably within an ERP system environment.
Strong knowledge of DBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques.
Experience with ERP systems and modules related to quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
