We use shopify and stocky.

I will explain how we replenish our physical stores and hopefully this will add some insight for the developers.

Our retail locations are quite small and have very little store room space. Because of this we have 1 main warehouse which replenishes stores daily depending on their sales.

Our main warehouse holds the bulk of our stock and does not have min max units as the stores are the priority. The stores have a stock level which we replenish to. So i believe for this we would set the min and max units as the same figure? For example Claremont’s min and max units is 10 for a brown scarf. When Claremont sells 2 scarves we wish to replenish them with 2 so they are restocked to 10.

Our main warehouse is in Melbourne but we are replenishing stores australia wide. Some replenishments (transfers) can take over 5 days to reach the store in transit. Therefore the transfers are not received in until the stock reaches the physical stores.

This is why when we are replenishing stores we would wish for the active transfers to be accounted for in the replenishment transfer and deducted from the transfer.

I will give you an example:

Claremont’s min and max units for the brown scarf is 10. They sell 2 on a Monday. On Tuesday morning the main warehouse replenishes them with 2 to bring them to their desired level of 10. This transfer is sent but not received as it will take 5 days in transit. Then on Tuesday they sell 3 scarves. Ideally on the Wednesday morning the replenishment transfer should tell the warehouse to send 3 but at the moment stocky is telling us to send 5 as it is not accounting for the active transfer which has not been received in.

I would like to have an app or plugin to shopify which will take into account the stocky active transfers in the replenishment report.
