We are a dynamic and growing business seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Specialist to streamline our processes and increase efficiency. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leveraging tools such as Zapier or Make, APIs, Webhooks to automate tasks and workflows.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently. This is a remote position, and the candidate should have some at least 3 hours of overlap during EST business hours (8 am to 6 pm).

Opzer is a consultancy agency specializing in process automation and software integration solutions for accounting firms and financial service providers helping them buy back their time using tailored automation solutions.

Responsibilities

– Collaborate with our team to implement and maintain automation solutions for ourselves and clients.
– Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using Zapier, APIs, Webhooks.
– When needed, provide scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript), and RPA tools.
– Integrate different software systems and platforms to enable seamless data flow and process automation.
– Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and propose automation solutions to optimize workflow.
– Provide technical expertise and guidance on automation best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.
– Monitor and maintain automated processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements as needed.
– Document automation workflows, configurations, and procedures for reference and training purposes.

Requirements

Proven experience in automating processes using Zapier, APIs, Webhooks,
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Self-motivated with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
Looking for a flexible schedule with the ability to work remotely.
Strong understanding of accounting and financial services processes and systems is preferred but not essential.
Experience working with or for businesses within the accounting or financial services industry is preferred but not essential.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar is also preferred

This freelance role needs 10-15 hrs per week as of now, but has the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate (assuming that’s desired).
