About Us
We are a fast-growing early-stage startup with an engineering team of 5 people. We are looking for a QA engineer with previous experience across the QA stack.
About the Role
You will be creating an automated QA process for us. Fluency in either Playwright or Cypress is a must.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing an integration testing process for the frontend (and possibly the backend in the future), including CI/CD integration
Performing regular release testing which will include some manual testing. Familiarity with a ticket tracking software such as Jira or Linear. Reporting on failed tests by creating tickets with sufficient detail so reproduction is possible.
Regular checking on the production release in customers’ accounts to verify correct functioning.
Monitoring of automated tests to identify failures, taking appropriate action when failures are identified.
We move quickly and want someone who will move quickly with us. Therefore, our strong preference is for someone who is in an Americas timezone or nearby so that you will be in roughly the same timezone as our developers.
Our ideal candidate would start out as part-time, and would be willing to move into a full-time contract if the opportunity arises.

To start, we would like you to complete the following tasks. Please time yourself and include that in your work product (below). We will provide login instructions and details for the work product once.
Task 1
