Our software development studio is looking for a senior and a junior Python developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and optimize AI and machine learning applications.
– Design scalable and maintainable microservices using Python,
– Write and update unit tests to ensure robust and reliable code with the goal of achieving 100% coverage.
– Utilize AWS, SQL, and NoSQL databases effectively in projects (Senior Developer).

Requirements:

– For Junior Developer: Proficiency in Python; familiarity with unit testing, and a keen interest in AI and machine learning.

– For Senior Developer: Extensive experience in Python, including practical use of OpenAI APIs and microservice architectures; strong knowledge of AWS, SQL, and NoSQL databases; ability to mentor junior staff and lead projects.

Both roles require a commitment to high-quality coding and
knowledge of machine learning principles is a big plus for both roles.

Salary:

Senior Developer: $1,800 per month
Junior Developer: $800 per month
Both positions are paid out weekly through Upwork.

Contract Terms:
These are monthly retainer positions with weekly payments. Performance is regularly evaluated, and contracts may be terminated if expectations are not met. The Senior Developer role requires passing a technical interview to ensure alignment with our high standards.

Some additional things to note:
– Team Meetings: We hold standups three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, which you are expected to attend. These meetings help us stay aligned and update each other on progress.
– Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required as it is our primary language of communication.
– Team Fit: We’re looking for someone who is not just skilled but also friendly and positive! At the end of the day – we’re here because we love writing code and building cool stuff and we’re just looking for someone that shares that view.

There is no fixed amount of hours you have to work each month and we don’t really care if you work at 5 am or 11 pm – as long as you get your tickets done and you update us on the progress during the weekly meetings.
