We are looking to develop a custom barcode scanning solution, incorporating both hardware and software, for our Inventory Replenishment System. This project includes sourcing and branding the hardware with a custom logo and creating a user-friendly software interface that integrates seamlessly into the handheld barcode scanner as well as a cloud-based simple inventory min/max platform / shopping list workflow.

Project Scope:
Hardware Development:
-Assist with sourcing a  low cost WiFi-enabled PDA Barcode Scanner hardware.
-Assist with initial order of prototype pieces for testing and validation.
-Custom branding with a specific logo, work with device manufacturer for OEM private-labelling.

Software Development:
-Development of simple "shopping list and barcode" cloud-based inventory management software, preferably on Zoho or a similar platform, with the following features:
-Private-labeled screens on device and software interface with a specific branding.
-Ability to import Parts List with Part #’s, Descriptions, and Min/Max quantities, with the option to update anytime.
-Barcode scanning functionality to create a "List" with re-order points, automatically adding items to the list based on predefined min/max quantities.
-Display minimum quantity on device post-scanning and enable adding multiple items to a "Shopping list".
-Custom quantity input, allowing override of pre-determined minimum.
-Automated email generation to a preset address with the list of items to be ordered once submitted by staff.
-Remote update capability for Min/Max and part #’s / descriptions via web.
-Development of a cloud-based software interface for the automated inventory system, and customizing the PDA software to align with our brand and operational flow.

Ideal Candidate:
-Experience in hardware sourcing, especially WiFi-enabled PDA Barcode Scanners.
-Proficient in developing cloud-based software, with a preference for experience with Zoho or similar platforms.
-Demonstrated history of developing inventory management systems or similar projects.
-Ability to work within a tight timeline and committed to delivering high-quality results.
-Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate closely with our team.
