We are a digital agency in Chicago that specializes in growth marketing. Most of our internal resources are focused on PPC, email marketing, content creation, and very basic website support across WordPress & Shopify. We have an increasing number of web dev/design projects that are all tied to larger campaigns that we are either in the process of launching or have recently launched.

We need extra (flexible) hands to help support our web projects. Tasks will include but are not limited to:

-helping to design and build sites within WordPress/WooCommerce & Shopify
-helping maintain WordPress & Shopify sites for clients with front-end design updates
-helping to customize existing client sites
-helping implement new landing pages, new content pages
-updating plugins and testing in staging environments before pushing live
-working to reach client PageSpeed Insights goals
-creating and maintaining site/process documentation as needed
-supporting other web dev/design work that can range from implementing new tracking codes (and testing them to verify that they’re working) to integrating Mailchimp with a new WooCommerce instance (to get a bit more specific with an example)

Our ideal candidate has:

-5-7 years experience with agencies/in-house/freelance
-deep knowledge of web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
-some UI/UX design experience
-some working knowledge of graphic design
-experience with various APIs

Our needs are varied and change frequently, but this role will have consistent freelance work augmenting our internal resources.

Hourly Range: $25.00-$40.00
