Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Elementor Developer to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. As a WordPress Elementor Developer, you will be responsible for making small website updates, implementing tweaks, and ensuring ongoing maintenance to enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities:
Website Updates: Implement content updates, including text, images, and multimedia, as requested by the content team or clients.

Tweaks and Enhancements: Make design and functionality adjustments to improve website performance, aesthetics, and usability.

Plugin Management: Install, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins and extensions, ensuring compatibility and security.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve website issues, including bugs, broken links, and layout problems.

Mobile Responsiveness: Ensure that websites are fully responsive and optimized for mobile devices.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance website speed and performance for a seamless user experience. We use WP Rocket so experience with this is preferred.

Backup and Recovery: Set up and maintain regular website backups and establish a recovery plan in case of emergencies. UpdraftPlus in place for this currently.

Collaboration: Coordinate with the content team, designers, and other stakeholders to execute website changes effectively.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress developer, with expertise in using Elementor.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing and troubleshooting websites.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and familiarity with SEO plugins (We use Rank Math SEO).

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with other website builders and CMS platforms.
Experience with e-commerce platforms and integration.
Graphic design skills for minor image editing and optimization.

We are seeking a North American-based candidate as we will be working on a 9-5 EST timezone.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$25.00
