At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2025, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai responded to concerns over attacks on Christians by saying no one should feel afraid and that anyone found guilty of violence will be brought to justice. He acknowledged reported cases of around 50 incidents but stressed that the state will act against perpetrators, also citing the Kerala nuns’ conversion case as an example where a mistake was corrected and the nuns were released.
