My name’s Mitchell Landewee and I am looking for a UI UX to become a founding member of our highly ambitious design and creative start-up Casual Creatives.

We’ve been operating for a couple of months now and have decided to expand upon our superstar team of creatives, starting with you.

Let me share a little bit about Casual Creatives and how it works…

Casual Creatives is an “unlimited” design and creative service offering UI Design, Graphic Design, Motion Design, 2D Illustration, 2D Animation, 3D Design & 3D Animation to e-commerce & SaaS clients for a fixed monthly fee.

Once they join our service, they’re provided with a personal task board…

This is where you’ll live, alongside an account manager and team of Graphic Design, 2D Illustration, 2D Animation, 3D Design & 3D Animation specialists.

Inside this task board, the client will post all the projects they need completed, which will be assigned to the appropriate creative, and delivered one at a time every 24-48 hours….

And that’s our service in a nutshell.

To be a good fit for this position you will be able to confidently…

– Use Figma, auto layout and create design systems
– Perform the following to world-class standard: Web design, landing pages, app design, and more…
– Think strategically with a firm understanding of UX principles
– Complete pixel-perfect, world-class designs in a wide range of styles, to suit any client
– Maintain constant communication with your team and clients in fluent English
– Solve problems quickly and efficiently
– Follow protocols including daily updates, managing task boards, and using internal management softwares
– Provide support and guidance to the other creatives on your team
– Work from 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (Pacific Time)

On top of that, our ideal hire will be ready to get down in the dirt with us…

They’ll be willing to tough it out for the next few months while we continue to get this thing off the ground.

They’ll help us optimize our processes to ensure we’re not only delivering world-class quality, but doing it quickly, and providing a service that our clients rave about.

They’ll help set the tone for every future hire, and assist in hiring the creatives that come after them to ensure they are equally as talented, passionate and hard-working.

Compensation & Workload

You’ll start out working part-time for US$42.50 per hour with the intention of moving you onto a retainer of US$6,750 per month (US$81,000 per year) + bonuses within 3-6 months.
