US President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing the US to withdraw from the World Health Organisation. Trump signed the order soon after taking the oath of office on January 20. “That’s a big one,” Trump said before signing the document. The text of the executive order cites the “organisation’s mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, and other global health crises.”
