Slovakia’s Interior Minister, Matuss Sutaj Estok, has said that the attacker who critically injured PM Robert Fico was a fierce critic of the latter’s decision to stop arms shipments to Ukraine. Estok said that 71-year-old shooter Juraj Cintula had protested against the suspension of military aid to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Fico is in stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery. However, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told public radio that Robert Fico is hovering between life and death two days after an assassination attempt.
