We are in the process of migrating existing Data ETL tasks from our low-code / no-code Jitterbit operations to Python. You will work as part of a small team and operate within our agreed-upon standards. You can expect 20-40 hours of work per week, and have the potential for long-term work opportunities.

We expect good communication in written English.

Python Experience:
1.) 3+ years of full-time Python experience
2.) Comprehensive understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and common libraries
3.) Extensive experience building APIs with FastAPI or within a Flask application
4.) Experience consuming 3rd-party APIs
5.) Experience with data processing libraries like Pandas and NumPy
6.) Ability to monitor, report and suggest improvements to application and API performance

ETL Experience:
1.) Understands the ETL process and principles
2.) Capable in extracting data from multiple sources, transform it and store it in a data store
3.) Familiarity with Jitterbit, or Mulesoft, or similar ETL tool is preferred

Data Format & Storage Experience:
1.) Understands and can consume and manipulate multiple data and API formats, such as JSON, XML and CSV
2.) Has extensive experience in one or more of the following databases; SQLite, MongoDB or MySQL databases

Additional Skills:
1.) Strong problem solving skills
2.) Ability to create quick proof of concepts to present to a team
3.) Ability to effectively communication technical design plans from a solution design
4.) Understands how to properly write test cases for development tasks
5.) Ability to work within a team or alone
6.) Openness to learning new tools and techniques

Hourly Range: $5.00-$15.00
