Russian President Vladimir Putin attended an Orthodox Easter service in Moscow on Saturday night. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, officiated at the service in Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Putin took part in the prayers after he announced a temporary Easter ceasefire in Ukraine starting Saturday, citing humanitarian reasons.
