Two Russian police officers were killed after five armed militants raided a checkpoint in the Karachay-Cherkessia region of Russia’s North Caucasus region on April 29. Four cops suffered injuries while all five gunmen were killed in the shootout, according to the regional branch of Russia’s Interior Ministry.
