I am seeking an experienced WordPress developer to assist in designing and constructing custom areas for a clients WordPress website. I have a vision for unique features that will enhance the user experience and set the website apart.

The client is a renowned bodybuilder and figure in the health and fitness scene, Dan Hughes. Dan has been in the health industry for over a decade and is looking to bring his vision for a digital workout platform to life.

Project Overview:

It is important to understand that the website needs to have a “Mobile-First” design, as most end users will be accessing the site via mobile phones.

I am looking for a skilled developer to accomplish the following on the clients WordPress website:

1) Custom page called “Workout Centre”. This page will only be accessible to subscribers. The “Workout Centre” is unique to each individual user and will remember their preferences and settings. The “Workout Centre” is an interactive page where subscribed users will go to view and complete their workouts. Users can select from a list of workout programs that have been pre-written by Coach Dan. Programs are typically 8 weeks long with 5 workouts per week (a total of 40 workouts). Users will input their weight and reps after each set, and this is recorded so that Coach Dan can review their progress. The “Workout Centre” will also track and record each user’s progress, so that when they next login they will be able to continue from the next workout in their program.

2) Implement subscription system where users can pay a monthly fee to access the “Workout Centre”. There are two different types of subscriptions, basic subscriptions which just include access to the “Workout Centre” and advanced subscriptions which also include check-ins and online coaching with Coach Dan.

3) Implement video demonstrations into the “Workout Centre”. When users are in the “Workout Centre” looking at their training program, there will be an option to view a video demonstration. The video should not automatically load and will only open if a user clicks to view it. The videos do not need to be local on the website and could be uploaded to YouTube or another platform, there just needs to be an option for a player to open if users wish to view a demonstration.

4) Coach Dan needs to have administrator access to each individual users “Workout Centre”. This means that Dan should be able to log on and view any users current progress in their program. Coach Dan should also be able to modify the pre-written training programs or add new programs as well.

5) Perform any further optimization or changes as necessary based on your experience to finalize the website for public use and complete the project.

Requirements:

• Proficient in WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development
• Portfolio showcasing similar WordPress projects
• Good communication skills

Timeline:

I am looking to complete this project within the next 60 days. Timely delivery is crucial for the client and the completed site should be delivered before 31/03/2024.

Budget:

My budget for this project is in the range of $750-$1750 USD. I am open to negotiation based on the scope of work and expertise.
