We are in search of an experienced Atlassian Marketplace Plugin Developer to provide ongoing support and maintenance for our existing app. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Atlassian ecosystem, particularly Jira, and possess the skills necessary to address customer inquiries, fix bugs, and implement new features.

Responsibilities:

– Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets related to our Atlassian Marketplace plugin promptly and professionally.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users, including bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.
– Collaborate with our development team to prioritize and address feature requests and enhancements for the plugin.
– Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as version updates, performance optimizations, and security patches.
– Perform thorough testing of new releases and updates to ensure compatibility and stability across different Atlassian product versions.
– Monitor feedback and reviews on the Atlassian Marketplace and implement improvements based on user feedback.
– Provide documentation and guidance to users on how to effectively use our plugin and troubleshoot common issues.

Requirements:

– Proven experience developing and maintaining Atlassian – Marketplace plugins, specifically for Jira.
– Strong proficiency in Java and familiarity with relevant Atlassian APIs, SDKs, and development tools.
– Demonstrated ability to diagnose and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner.
– Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to interact with users professionally and effectively.
– Detail-oriented approach to testing, documentation, and maintaining code quality.
– Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
– A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and changes in the Atlassian ecosystem.
