Job Description:

We are seeking expert mobile app developers to join our team in creating a comprehensive mental health app for veterans. The app will feature secure one-on-one chat capabilities, community chat rooms, AI-driven mental health tools, and connections to local resources. The project is expected to span over 6 months, with the potential for further development and updates.

Key Responsibilities:

-App Development: Lead the development of a mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

-Chat Features: Implement secure and encrypted one-on-one chat functionality, as well as community chat rooms that allow veterans to connect with each other.

-AI Integration: Develop and integrate AI features designed to provide mental health support, including chatbots and personalized resource recommendations.

-Local Resource Connection: Build features that allow users to easily find and connect with local mental health resources, including therapists, support groups, and emergency services.

-User Experience: Design an intuitive and user-friendly interface that ensures ease of use for all veterans, including those with varying levels of technical proficiency.

-Collaboration: Work closely with mental health professionals, UX/UI designers, and project managers to ensure the app meets the needs of veterans.

-Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the app is free of bugs and provides a seamless user experience.

-Maintenance and Updates: Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to ensure the app remains current, secure, and effective.

Requirements:

-Experience: Proven experience in mobile app development, particularly with projects involving mental health or community support features.

-Technical Skills: Proficiency in iOS and Android development, knowledge of AI and machine learning integration, experience with secure messaging systems, and familiarity with connecting apps to external resources.

-Security Focus: Strong understanding of data privacy and security, particularly in relation to sensitive information.

Hourly Range: $24.00-$41.00
