This role involves working within a team and it’s established structured project management framework using a Monday.com board for task organization and sprint planning.

Responsibilities:

– Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, ensuring high functionality and addressing technical aspects of the CMS.
– Collaborate with design and content teams to transform project requirements into functional, responsive websites.
– Customize WordPress themes and plugins to align with project needs.
– Ensure robust website security and performance, adhering to best practices.
– Optimize website for speed and scalability.
– Conduct technical testing and resolve issues to maintain website performance.
– Engage with stakeholders to implement new features and continuously improve website functionality.
– Document technical configurations and website development processes.
– Provide training on website management and maintenance post-implementation.
– Participate in sprint planning sessions, use Monday boards for task management, and engage in voting for story points to prioritize work effectively.

Qualifications:

– Demonstrable expertise in WordPress development, including themes and plugins.
– Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
– Ability to integrate new features into the WordPress framework through 3rd party APIs.
– Strong background in PHP back-end development.
– Experienced with version control tools like Git.
– Deep understanding of website architecture and design principles.
– Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems effectively.
– Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
