We also provide managed services to our clients, with an emphasis on managed IT services, Google Workspace solutions, custom application development, websites, and other technology services. All of our technology solutions are designed with best security practices in mind, keeping our clients secure and compliant. Elate is based in the US, but our team is global. We work remotely, so all team members must be available when needed to collaborate during 5a-5p Pacific Time (PT).
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning, user-friendly websites on the Webflow platform with familiarity in converting Figma designs to Webflow. Every delivered site should follow best practices including those for scalable content management. A successful person in this position will also prove to excel in client communication, project management, and be able to work with 3rd party APIs.
Job Expectations:
To be successful in the position, you should excel in these areas:
◦ Development: All websites are exclusively built on the Webflow platform. Each site should be designed with best practices in mind, mobile first, fully responsive and take advantage of Webflow technologies such as Symbols, Variables, CMS and Logic. Your builds should prove to be resilient and responsive across all modern environments and screen sizes.
◦ Design: In addition to your primary responsibility consisting of development, you must possess above average design skills that uphold our high standards while being able to respond intelligently to client feedback. A key piece of every design process is communication, the ability to convey thoughts, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver a high performing site that is inline with client expectations. We use Figma & Adobe for creating design elements.
◦ Organization: Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing expert guidance. Communicate effectively with clients, manage expectations, and incorporate feedback. Manage end-to-end project life-cycles, from planning and execution to successful delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
◦ Integrations: Although we do not expect advanced software development skills (these would be a nice to have), we do expect that the person in this position is able to utilize APIs, deploy code and complete other basic integrations that are often delivered through APIs.
Preferred Qualifications:
◦ Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, or the equivalent professional experience.
◦ Experience: Building mobile first websites as the primary Developer on the Webflow platform.
◦ Expertise: Proficient in advanced Webflow design techniques and development tools.
◦ Design: Strong design sensibility and an eye for detail. Familiarity with Figma.
◦ Communication: Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
◦ Resourcefulness: Find web assets (ie images, gifs, icons, etc), use new tools such as AI to improve output or accomplish previously difficult (or time consuming tasks)
◦ SEO Practitioner
◦ Content Strategy Consulting
◦ User experience optimization, including A/B testing
◦ Data driven decision making through the deployment of analytic tooling
◦ Interest in AI and utilizing new tools
Requirements:
◦ You can do your project based work at any time, but you must be available when needed to collaborate internally or with clients during 5a – 5p PT.
◦ You must be fluent in speaking / reading / writing in English.
◦ You must be a freelancer (not working for an agency).
Hourly Range: $3.00-$5.00
