While not required, SJC seeks to collaborate with individuals who have firsthand experience within the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
– Complete redesign of our existing website to improve navigation, aesthetic appeal, and functionality.
– Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and complies with web accessibility standards.
– Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to the website as needed.
– Work closely with our communications team to ensure the website aligns with our brand and communications strategy.
Requirements:
– Proven experience in web development with a portfolio of previous projects.
– Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design coding languages.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
– A passion for social justice and a desire to work with a nonprofit organization.
– Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred to ensure the website is accessible in both languages.
Timeline and Deliverables:
– The project is anticipated to be finalized no later than December.
– Deliverables include initial design concepts, revisions based on feedback, and final digital files.
