About the Role:
As a Website Builder, you’ll play a crucial role in conceptualizing creative ideas, testing and improving website designs, and maintaining a cohesive visual identity for our clients. You’ll work closely with clients, utilizing your expertise in HTML, CSS, design software (e.g., Photoshop), and WordPress development to bring their visions to life.
Responsibilities:
Conceptualize creative ideas with clients.
Test and improve the design of websites.
Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
Maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
Design visual imagery in line with client branding.
Work with various content management systems.
Communicate design ideas through user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
Design sample pages, including colors and fonts.
Prepare design plans and present the website structure.
Required Skills, Tools, and Experience:
Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
Experience with design software (e.g., Photoshop).
Understanding of UX/UI design.
Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization).
WordPress development experience.
Strong visual design sense.
Experience in responding effectively to clients’ design requests.
Type of Contract:
Freelance based on a flat rate and weekly hours with an expected hourly rate of $10-$30 (USD) per hour.
Reports to:
This is mostly an execution-based role, with some consulting work required.
Hourly Range: $10.00-$30.00
