This position involves both backend and frontend responsibilities to ensure our website is running smoothly, efficiently, and securely. The webmaster MUST be available during CST daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Management:
– Ensuring optimal site speed and performance.
– Regularly updating and managing plugins.
– Overseeing file size and type management.
– Ensuring seamless functionality across all components of the site.
Frontend Management:
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and PHP.
– Maintenance and regular backups of the website.
– Ensuring maximum uptime and domain integrity.
– Implementing and overseeing basic bot protection and geofencing.
– Structuring the site for basic SEO optimization.
– Embedding and managing gs scripting for third-party integrations.
– User permission and role management.
– Overseeing analytics through GA4 and ensuring consistent tracking.
– Optimizing the website for mobile use.
– Providing emergency response and support when needed.
Desirable Skills:
– Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is highly advantageous.
– Strong coding abilities in HTML, CSS, and PHP.
– A keen interest in the latest AI trends.
