We are actively seeking an experienced web design agency to form a long-term collaboration for our company. This collaboration will primarily focus on the maintenance and marketing of our two WordPress websites in the food and drink (including alcohol) niche.

Responsibilities:

As the chosen agency, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that these websites maintain a visually appealing design, are user-friendly, and, critically, remain error-free across all elements for both users and our business. Additionally, you will manage a small long-term Google AdWords campaign for one of the sites.

Key Tasks for both websites:

Regularly check and update the websites to ensure they are error-free including monitoring of all plugins.
Proactively identify and fix errors without needing our prompts.
Conduct thorough testing after updates to confirm everything functions correctly.
Monitor website performance and address any issues promptly.
Provide monthly reports on maintenance activities, website health and our Google adwords campaign.
Implement a double-check system where another team member reviews your work before submission to us.
Use automated testing tools to regularly scan the websites for errors and issues.

Requirements:

Proven experience in WordPress website maintenance, design, SEO, and digital marketing.
Strong and complete attention to detail and commitment to quality is a must.
100% proactive approach to identifying and fixing errors.
Ability to communicate effectively, discuss strategies, and provide regular updates.
Passion for the food and drink industry is a plus.

Expectations:

Immediate action on critical issues.
Clear communication (in monthly reports if needed) about what has been checked and fixed.
Dedication to maintaining high standards and minimizing errors.
We expect to avoid the need for our micromanagement by submitting error-free work and completing all necessary checks before sending it to us.

Cost Control Measures:

We expect to establish a fixed monthly retainer for ongoing maintenance that covers regular checks minor fixes and updates and the google adwords campaign for one website.
We expect to clearly define what constitutes minor fixes and updates (e.g., issues that can be resolved within a certain time frame).
For major feature updates, we will pre-approve a budget for fixes and require an estimate before work begins. We will be looking for discounted rates/capped prices for such work here, on the basis a retainer is already being paid.
We would also like you to provide details about your operating hours and support channels.
We would like to review your service level agreements (SLAs), including response times for critical issues, important functionality updates, and new feature requests. We expect all offered SLA commitments to be fully adhered to.

We may take references from website owners included in your portfolio.
