We are an SEO company looking for a talented web design and development freelancer to help us move a client site from Squarespace to WordPress. The ideal candidate should have experience in both web design and development, as well as expertise in migrating websites between different platforms.

The main task will include redesigning the website home page, creating a service page template, and a handful of other pages on WordPress (less than 20 pages total) with a sleek design that’s also fast and mobile friendly. You can use a theme, doesn’t have to be a custom build. We’d also like some guidance on the best approach on transitioning all existing content from the old site to the new site, to ensure a smooth transition without any loss of functionality or SEO rankings.

The successful candidate should be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and have a solid understanding of SEO best practices. If you have a great eye for design and are experienced in WordPress development, we would love to hear from you! We’re hoping to begin in the next few weeks and have the project take 2-3 weeks if possible. Again, it’s a small site.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$30.00
