**About us:**
We are a growing real estate lead gen company seeking a UX researcher to map customer segments, define appropriate value prop and experience for each segment,conduct first party research, and make relevant product recommendations that will increase onsite and call center conversion rate. Recently, we’ve noticed downticks in key performance indicators, such as conversion rate on our website. We believe we should not only stabilize this trend, but identify a path to grow the business. We’ve assembled a task force focused on improving customer experience and increasing conversion rate. While we have redesigned key site experiences, we are looking to take bigger swings to dramatically improve the customer experience and become the leading destination for our target customer. We have no shortage of new ideas for additional features to build – yet do not have a clear prioritized roadmap rooted in what we believe customers would value most.

**About you:**
Past experience generating customer insights based on survey research,1-on-1 focus groups and other user feedback sessions
Familiarly with persona development and generative product development user interviews
Experience working with small-to-midsize direct to consumer companies
Excellent communication skills
Product management or development background is a plus
Ready to start ASAP

**The work to be done, as part of a small team:**
Audit existing product to assess areas of improvement
Develop and execute customer survey to define key segments
Write user stories/personas
Map user journeys
Develop and execute interview guides for usability testing (real users’ pain points) and focus groups
Synthesize new product ideas and user feedback
Wireframing
Heuristic evaluation

**Details**
10-20 hours per week
Pacific, Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zone preferred
3-6 month job

Hourly Range: $15.00-$40.00
