We are seeking a detail-oriented and insightful User Experience Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating and enhancing the user experience of our startup’s website, Distantrace.com, and our accompanying mobile application.

Key Responsibilities:

x) User Experience Analysis: Conduct thorough testing of our website and mobile app to assess the user experience, focusing on usability, functionality, and overall appeal.
x) Advice on UX Updates: Provide informed recommendations for UX improvements, including layout changes, navigation enhancements, and content optimization to ensure an intuitive and engaging user experience.
x) Bug Reporting: Diligently identify, document, and report any bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies encountered during testing, providing clear descriptions and potential impact assessments.
x) User Feedback Synthesis: Collect and analyze user feedback to identify common issues and areas for improvement, translating insights into actionable UX strategies.
x) Usability Testing: Design and execute usability tests to evaluate user satisfaction and identify pain points in the user journey.
x) Cross-Platform Consistency: Ensure a seamless and consistent user experience across various devices and platforms, including different browsers and operating system versions.
x) Performance Monitoring: Monitor website and app performance, identifying issues related to load times, responsiveness, and stability.
x) Accessibility Compliance: Evaluate and ensure that the website and app adhere to accessibility standards, providing an inclusive experience for all users.
x) Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with the development team to communicate user experience insights and collaborate on implementing UX enhancements.
x) Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices to continually bring fresh perspectives to the role.

Qualifications:

x) Proven experience in UX testing or a related field.
x) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
x) Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
x) Familiarity with usability testing tools and methodologies.
x) Knowledge of web and mobile app development processes.
x) Understanding of accessibility standards and user-centered design principles.
x) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$21.00
