Must be an individual developer, not part of an agency, and have strong experience in Drupal, MySQL, Java, Spring boot, GCP, and Next.js.

Required

– 5+ years of backend web development experience.
– PHP, Drupal, Java, Spring boot, Next.js, and MySQL
– Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design, data structures, and algorithms
– Experience working with source control systems; git preferred
– Full-time availability and start immediately
– Ability to communicate clearly in English
– Reliable network and high bandwidth to work in a remote environment.
– Write “I am a human” at the top of your proposal

What you’ll be doing:

– Independently design, build, test, and support a high-performance, scalable, and innovative CMS powering cross-platform streaming service.
– Develop back-end APIs, implement system instrumentation, and provide documentation.
– Work closely with other engineers and product management teams to meet fixed deadlines.
– Work in all phases of a rapid product development life-cycle.
– Migrate the Drupal project to Java/Spring boot and Next.js while maintaining the Drupal codebase.

Nice to have

– Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments especially GCP.
