FatalFox Studios is looking for a full-time Unreal Gameplay Engineer. We are a small indie studio that is expanding and are looking to fill a remote contracting role for an upcoming project. As an Unreal Gameplay Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing gameplay systems and mechanics using Unreal Engine. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing and maintaining gameplay code, prototyping, and iterating features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth gameplay experience. Responsibilities
Design highly scalable, robust, and maintainable code
Analyze, maintain, and tweak existing software applications
Discover and fix programming bugs
Work closely with other members of the team to develop and balance gameplay systems
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in game development. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
Proficiency in Unreal Engine and experience in gameplay programming
Strong understanding of C++ programming language
Experience with multiplayer and online gameplay in Unreal Engine 4
Experience using version control software (e.g. Perforce, SVN, etc.)
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Passion for games and game design
