I need a variety of UI / UX work done for a poker training app. The app is currently live at www.livepokertheory.com as a web app (responsively designed for mobile).

You can look at www.livepokertheory.com/trainer and try the demo to get a feel for the existing app.

I need to :

* Improve the landing page
* Improve the visual and UX aspects to the trainer
* Add various new pages such as email preferences, optimized monetization flows, subscription cancellation, user "stats" on their progress, gamified "achievements" section, etc
* Create a true native version of the app (using React Native)

We will:

* Collaborate in Figma on both improving the existing web app and creating a new native app

You should:

* Be an expert at using Figma
* Be an expert in both UX and have a strong sense for compelling visual design
* Ideally, some experience in game design so we can make the trainer more "fun" and gamified
* Not necessary, but ideally you understand Texas Hold’Em Poker

Notes about this project:

* This is a one-person project with no external funding.
* Hours will be limited to about ~15 hours a week both so that I can keep an eye on budget and so you don’t outpace my ability to implement designs.
* Mostly low urgency on any given piece of work since I have plenty of work to do as I’m lead coder
* I may also need to pause the contract at points
* Won’t be able to move to more hours or increase rates unless we successfully monetize and grow

However, the product does have some momentum with about 500 signups and ~40 Weekly Active Users . It’s also in a space where similar products are monetized. So there’s potential for growth and more hours/higher rate.

Hourly Range: $17.00-$35.00
