We are seeking a talented UI/UX designer to create a user-friendly and visually appealing smartphone app on Figma. The app aims to help users to meet new people locally. The app will require integration with Google Maps API to locate and display gathering spots.

Key Features:
User-friendly interface with simple navigation.
Support for both day and night modes.
Google Maps API integration for locating gathering spots.
Ability to create and join gatherings.
Clean, modern, and intuitive design.

Requirements:
Proven experience in designing mobile applications.
Proficiency in Figma.
Ability to design both day and night modes.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous app design work.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities:
Design the overall user interface and experience for the app.
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes on Figma.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience designing social or location-based apps.
Understanding of current design trends and best practices.
Ability to provide insights and suggestions for improving user experience.
Using an exhaustive design checklist to make sure to not miss any required mockup.
