The US authorities have confiscated one of the Venezuelan government’s planes days after Trump’s special envoy Richard Grenell met President Nicolas Maduro. During a visit to the Dominican Republic on Thursday, Rubio inspected the seizure of a Dassault Falcon 200 jet and said that the plane violated US sanctions.
