Burkina Faso President Captain Ibrahim Traoré praised workers, security forces, media professionals and the diaspora for their efforts in 2025, calling for continued sacrifice and unity in the fight for sovereignty. Emphasising the role of communication in countering imperialism and disinformation, Traoré outlined plans to reorganise Burkina Faso’s diplomacy in line with new geopolitical realities, strengthen the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), and ensure the success of what he described as a revolutionary path. He urged citizens to remain patriotic, resist disinformation, and work together to defeat terrorism and transform Burkina Faso for future generations.
