Job Description: Contractors
Project Title: Inventory Data Transformation for Shopify Upload Using App Script and Google Sheets.       Hourly (Max 4hrs)
Phase 1 – Contractors Timeline for Phase 1 of this Project: 3-5 business days
Phase 2 – Troubleshooting Period for Phase 2 of this Project: 5-10 business days

Objective for Contractor:
To develop a custom Google Sheets solution using Google App Script to automatically transform current inventory data into a format suitable for Shopify upload. The solution should streamline the data transformation process, requiring minimal user interaction—specifically, a single button click to execute the script. This project is for our garment blank company, to allow them to update inventory as it manufactured and import it easily into our B2B store

Contractors Scope:
Develop a Google App Script that automates the data collection and transformation process.
Ensure the script places the transformed data into the specified output format.
Create a template within Google Sheets that can be duplicated for future use, provided the data structure and layout remain consistent.
Contractors Deliverables:
A custom Google App Script embedded within a Google Sheet.
A user-friendly interface, including a button to trigger the script.
Documentation for setting up and using the script.
Testing and debugging to ensure the script works as intended.

Phase 1 – Contractors Timeline for Phase 1 of this Project: 3-5 business days
Initial Setup and Development: Target completion within 24 hours from project start.
Testing and Debugging / Changes: 1 business day
Documentation and User Interface Setup: 1 business day
Use Case Testing Timeline with Client: 1-2 business days

Phase 2 – Troubleshooting Period for Phase 2 of this Project: 5-10 business days
Client will make sure there are no issues or outliers that arise
Total = 10 business days

Application Process:
Interested candidates should provide a brief overview of their relevant experience with Google Apps Script and any similar projects they have completed.
Availability to complete the project within the specified timeline.

Responsibilities:
Understand Requirements: Collaborate with the client to understand their inventory data structure and the desired output format for Shopify.
Environment Setup: Set up the necessary environment within Google Sheets, ensuring all required data inputs and outputs are properly configured.
Script Development: Write a Google App Script to automate the transformation of inventory data into the required format for Shopify uploads.
Testing and Debugging: Thoroughly test the script to ensure it functions correctly, and debug any issues that arise.
User Interface Implementation: Create a user-friendly interface within the Google Sheet, including a button to trigger the script.
Documentation: Provide clear and concise documentation detailing how to use the script and replicate the template for future use.

Access and Resources given to Contractor:
Editor access to a Google Sheet containing the inventory data.
A sample layout of the input data tab.
A sample layout of the desired output data tab.

Edits and Debugging:
The project includes an initial setup and one round of debugging based on client feedback.

Note: The goal is to complete the initial setup and development within 24 hours from the project start to ensure a timely delivery. However, this timeframe is a goal and not a mandatory requirement. Please ensure you are available to start immediately and can dedicate the necessary time to meet the project objectives.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$20.00
