We are seeking an experienced web developer to build an ecommerce website for our kids’ birthday party supplies store. As a business catering to the vibrant world of children’s celebrations, we’re looking for a platform that offers flexibility, independence, and customization options beyond Shopify or any other restricted sites.

Project Scope:

Develop a custom ecommerce website using a platform such as WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, OpenCart, or PrestaShop.
Design a visually appealing website that captures the essence of children’s birthday parties while maintaining professionalism and ease of navigation.
Implement essential ecommerce features including product listings, shopping cart functionality, checkout process, and secure payment gateways.
Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and optimized for search engines to maximize visibility and accessibility.
Integrate inventory management system to keep track of product availability and prevent overselling.
Provide guidance on selecting the most suitable platform based on our requirements and preferences.
Bonus:

If you have expertise in SEO and can optimize the website for search engines post-completion, it would be a significant advantage. We anticipate the need for ongoing marketing and maintenance work, and this could lead to continued collaboration.
Requirements:

Proven experience in developing ecommerce websites, preferably for retail or niche markets such as kids’ products.
Expertise in one or more of the following platforms: WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, OpenCart, or PrestaShop.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles to create an engaging and user-friendly website.
Ability to collaborate closely with our team to understand our brand identity and business objectives.
Excellent communication skills and responsiveness throughout the project duration.
Timeline and Budget:

We are looking for two types of proposals:

Flat Rate Proposal: You can reply with a proposal for a flat rate A to Z with completion. Please include your estimated timeline for completion.

Hourly Rate Proposal: Alternatively, you can provide an hourly rate and estimate the number of hours you think it may take to complete the project.

Sample Website: Here is a sample website to give you an idea of what we’re looking for: Party Mania USA. We would like our website to have similar functionalities and aesthetics.
