Explosions have reportedly been heard in Iran’s capital city Tehran on Saturday morning as Israel confirmed that it launched attack on Iran. Sirens were sounded across Israel as well, as the military said that the “proactive alert to prepare the public for the possibility of missiles being launched toward the state of Israel.” The launch comes hours after US President Donald Trump said he was “not happy” with Iran talks and that a ‘big decision’ was to be made. Oman’s foreign minister Badr Albusaidi, who is mediating the talks between Tehran and Washington, has said that a deal between the two sides is now within the reach. “No nuclear weapons. Not ever. Zero stockpiling. Comprehensive verification. Peacefully and permanently. Let’s support the negotiators in closing the deal,” he said on X as he shared a clip of his interview with CBS News.
