OpenCourt is a sports club booking and membership management SaaS. We’re a B2B product in the niche of pickleball, the fastest growing sport in America (look it up!). We’re growing very rapidly.

We’re currently a team of 3 senior engineers, QA, and a designer. It’s a fairly complex B2B SaaS that will become way more complex over time.

I’m currently managing the team and the work we’re doing on a day-to-day basis. Writing requirements, making architectural & design decisions, testing the work, mentoring the team as needed.

I need you to take that over from me.

About You:
– Are an experienced developer who is not afraid to get his/her hands dirty
– You managed teams and projects in the past, and you like it
– You led the buildout of large B2B SaaS products (or were involved so well that you know everything there is to know about building B2B SaaS)
– You can teach me (and everyone else on the team) the right ways of building our software
– You understand what early-stage startups are like
– You have a decent eye for good UX
– You WILL take leadership over all development-related processes, and you will be solely accountable for all development work. I’ll be relying on you A LOT. You’re a hard worker and you aren’t afraid of responsibility
– Your English is good enough to have conversations with patient fluent speakers
– You are EXCITED about being on the ground floor of a startups that will redefine the sports club software landscape in the United States

Our Tech Stack:
– Next.js (both FE and BE)
– Typescript
– Postgres, Prisma ORM
– Tailwind CSS
– Vercel for deployments
– Supabase for auth and db
– Playwright E2E tests

We’re based in the US but the whole team is remote. You’ll be working with some Ukraine-based developers, but will also need overlap with the CDT timezone.
