We are excited to introduce "Chop Local," an innovative app designed to support local businesses while providing exceptional value to consumers through a rewards-based system. We are seeking an experienced mobile app developer who can bring this app to life, integrating complex functionalities tailored for both consumers and businesses.

Responsibilities:

Develop a robust mobile app for iOS and Android that serves two main user groups: consumers and businesses.
Implement features for consumer engagement such as personalized restaurant recommendations, loyalty rewards, referral bonuses, and a unique ranking system based on support for local businesses.
Create business-centric functionalities, including access to a loyal customer database, marketing tools to target specific demographics, and features to boost revenue during off-peak times.
Ensure seamless integration of QR scanning capabilities and a chatbot for real-time user interaction.
Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the app is intuitive and appealing.
Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure app reliability and performance.
Provide ongoing support and updates post-launch.
Requirements:

Proven experience in mobile app development with a portfolio of completed projects, especially in the commerce or rewards app niche.
Proficient in Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android; experience with cross-platform frameworks is a plus.
Understanding of backend technologies necessary for real-time data processing and storage.
Experience integrating third-party APIs for functionalities like geolocation, QR scanning, and push notifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
