We are on the brink of developing an exciting, interactive web application that merges live video broadcasting with real-time viewer engagement. Our aim is to create a working prototype that demonstrates the core functionalities of our vision, focusing on simplicity, usability, and the seamless integration of e-commerce capabilities within a live broadcast environment.

Project Deadline: February 16th

What We’re Building:
Without giving away too much, our project revolves around two primary user experiences:
The Broadcaster: An individual who can live stream video content from a straightforward, single-page web interface. This role involves showcasing products, controlling product visibility, and sharing information live with the audience.
The Viewer: Users who can watch the live stream, interact with the content, and make purchases directly through the video feed, enjoying a streamlined checkout process.

Key Features:
Live Video Streaming: A simple yet effective broadcast functionality for the Streamer.
E-Commerce Integration: Connect a third-party e-commerce platform (e.g., a Shopify trial store) for real-time product showcasing and sales.
Interactive Viewer Experience: Viewers can log in, interact with products, and complete purchases without ever leaving the stream.

Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a forward-thinking developer who is excited to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Someone who understands the intricacies of web development, live streaming technology, and e-commerce integration. If you’re passionate about creating new experiences and eager to dive into a project that has the potential to redefine viewer engagement, we want you.

Requirements:
Proficiency in web development technologies suitable for live streaming and e-commerce integration.
Experience in developing interactive web applications.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet the project deadline.
A problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for usability and user experience.

Opportunity for Ongoing Work:
This project is just the beginning. We’re moving fast and have plans to quickly transition from this working prototype to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and beyond. For the right candidate, this job offers the exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of developing a revolutionary application, with the prospect of ongoing work as we scale.

Project Outcome:
We’re not just looking for bells and whistles; we’re focused on proving core functionality that’s both achievable and usable. Aesthetics, while secondary at this stage, will be concentrated around product presentation within the live stream and a seamless checkout experience.
