Speaking at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference in Riyadh, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa emphasized that Syria seeks to rebuild independently and “not be a burden on others.” While interacting with a Saudi journalist, al-Sharaa said Syria has rapidly regained its regional and global standing with the support of friendly nations, especially Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS).
