Hello,

I have an iOS app written for Swift 17 and SwiftData.

I have a lot of the UI and logic done but am having a hard time debugging performance issues I’m seeing with SwiftData and I don’t have the time to debug them. I believe I have narrowed the issue down to when the app autosaves content to SwiftData that is being synced to CloudKit, but I need to make sure this is the issue, and if it is, how to fix it. And if there’s not a way to fix it, I need to show the performance issue in a new XCode project to pass along to Apple.

To recap, here’s what I need:

1. Take my existing app and audit animation performance issues happening when the app is autosaving to SwiftData. These are not easy or well documented issues given the relative newness of SwiftData.

2. If actionable improvements to the code are possible (given results of performance audit), implement those changes into the codebase.

3. If audit determines this is a problem with SwiftData, then create a new xcode project that shows the bug in the simplest possible way so it can be submitted to apple.

Please, if you have not used SwiftData, and CloudKit syncing with SwiftData, don’t apply for this job. Like I said this is an under-documented new feature of SwiftUI and I’ve done my fair share of debugging and problem solving.
