liblab is an engineering company, by developers, for developers. Founded in 2022, liblab was created to transform how client libraries are made. Building and maintaining SDKs in multiple languages at the same time is hard to get right. liblab takes care of all of its clients SDK needs and helps them generate, maintain and monitor their SDKs. Our product allows our clients to build developer friendly, human readable SDKs in minutes.

liblab has raised north of $50 million in venture funding from Insight Partners, Zeev Ventures, Stepstone, Rainfall and Sheva. And we are looking to scale our engineering team.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative Senior Software Engineer with a focus on backend Swift development to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in leading the development of Swift SDKs. While not front-end focused, the ideal candidate should have experience working on aspects of projects that are visible to end-users.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining efficient code particularly in SWIFT and using Typescript to generate Swift code.

2. Leading the development of Swift SDKs at liblab, ensuring high-quality and efficient code that aligns with industry best practices.

3. Contributing to projects that are user-facing. That is, put yourself in the shoes of your users and be a steward of crafting great experiences

4. Testing the reliability and robustness of the Swift SDKs developed.

5. Developing and maintaining development environment.

6. Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts

7. Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems

8. Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise

9. Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design

You’ll Be a Good Fit If you have

1. Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a software engineer, with proficiency in SWIFT, with the ability to use Typescript for generating Swift code. Backend proficiency with Swift is a must.

2. Some level of professional experience with React Native and Kotlin

3. A track record of successful contributions to user-facing mobile projects.

4. Solid understanding of DevOps practices. Experience with Github Actions (or other CI/CD tools)

5. Automated Testing Experience – Load test, spike test, stress test

6. Documentation experience (Enable engineering team to deploy, troubleshoot, etc )

7. Proven ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding, showcasing self-sufficiency in problem-solving and project execution.

Nice To Have

1. Early Stage Startup experience preferred

2. A BS in Computer Science or a related field
