We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Drupal Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in web development with at least 4 years of dedicated experience working with Drupal 8 or higher. The Senior Drupal Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Drupal-based solutions for our clients.

Your ROLE:
– You will work for our client who is based in the United States.
– Your work will primarily be backend development with Drupal 10, with basic tasks related to the theming layer.
– You will be working independently in a remote setting.
– You will be collaborating in a team of 4-5 friendly professionals.
– You will meet us and the client in regular check-in meetings, and explain the progression of your work.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Develop and maintain the existing product based on Drupal, including custom module development, site-building, and basic theme development.
– Demonstrate a strong understanding of Object-Oriented PHP, git, MySQL, Composer, Twig, and related technical skills required for effective development.
– Utilize Linux terminal and commands for development and deployment tasks.
– Experience with docker-based deployment environments like docker-compose, ddev, lando, etc is highly desirable.
– Acquia Certified Backend Specialist certification is a plus.
– Open-source contributions are highly valued and considered a huge plus.

Qualifications:
– 8+ years of web development experience.
– Minimum 4 years of experience working with Drupal 8 or higher.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Proven track record in building and executing multiple large-scale web-based projects.
– Experience working in an agile development environment.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Work setup:
– Fully remote.
– Work happens in CET time with flexibility.
– Core overlap hours are between 2 PM – 6 PM CET.
