As a Quality Assurance Engineer at InsuranceMarket.ae, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with our development and product teams to design and implement effective testing strategies, develop and execute test plans, and identify and report defects. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual test cases to identify defects and issues.
• Document and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform functional, regression, and Sanity testing.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Continuously improve and optimize test processes and strategies to increase test coverage and efficiency.
• Provide clear and concise test status reports to project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the QA team.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts.
• Experience with automation testing is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Relevant skills:
  – Defect reporting and tracking
  – Collaboration with development teams
  – Strong attention to detail.
  – Swagger/Postman API testing experience specifically
     for Sage (or similar) applications is a major plus
  – Insurance background and financial services is a major
     plus
