A web app has been in development for a year now by a team of developers. Most of the testing has been done by the dev team themselves.

However, the public launch of the app is approaching and so we are looking to set up a dedicated QA team.

This role would involve manually testing the in-development web app. This includes everything from manually testing individual features, as well as setting up testing procedures and checklists so we can regularly regression test. Plus, after the public launch, additional deployment checklists will be created so that there is a clear path for new features to be thoroughly tested before being pushed to production.

All of the bug reports will be added to our Trello board. From there, we have a standardized structure to report the issue, how to reproduce, and what was expected. Plus, additional details are gathered to help the developers understand the issue. These issues will then be triaged by the product management team to determine what should be fixed first.

We are very excited to work with a great QA engineer. I look forward to chatting!
