Basic Qualifications:
– 2+ years of software engineering experience on a product development team which has build products in the transportation world (developer facing shipping APIs, shipping rate selection for logistics companies, etc.)
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or a related discipline
– 3+ years working in back-end web development with GoLang or any other modern language (work experience or school/personal project experience)
– 3+ years working with Javascript/Typescript on the frontend (work experience or school/personal project experience)

Preferred skills and experience:

– Experience building scalable systems with cloud infrastructures like AWS, Google Cloud, Heroku, or Azure
– Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git, SVN or Mercurial
– Exceptional learning skills
– Has built projects end to end (contributed on frontend, backend, and infrastructure)
– It is preferred this engineer is located close to Pacific Standard Time zone (PST) so they can be counted on for cloud support rotations
– Has worked in industry as a SWE before

Hourly Range: $25.00-$50.00
