Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in algorithms and experience using the OpenAI API, to join our team full-time. The focus will be on developing, optimizing, and integrating advanced algorithms within our Shopify app to enhance its performance, scalability, and innovative features.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize algorithms for improved performance of the Shopify app using Python and OpenAI’s API.
Implement and maintain integration of the OpenAI API, leveraging large language models (LLMs) to enhance app functionalities.
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of the system.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define specifications and deliver solutions with a high level of precision and functionality.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

Qualifications:

Strong background in software engineering with a focus on algorithms and data structures.
Proficient in Python and familiar with API integrations, specifically OpenAI’s API.
Basic understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their applications in real-world scenarios.
Experience with the Shopify platform and application development.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.

This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable with rapid development cycles and flexible in adapting to evolving project requirements.

Hourly Range: $20.00-$45.00
